WEATHER RESISTANT SHIELD
The water-resistant finishing (BIONIC-FINISH ECO®) combined
with heat-sealed seams creates our Elite protective outer shield against wind and water.
The outer layer fabric is waterproof up to 10,000mm and, proud to say, made from 100% recycled nylon.
ULTRA-WARM INTERNAL LINING
The ultra warm inner layer is made from elite synthetic
lambswool lining, it is specifically designed to keep you warm after any event and maintain your core temperature.
Made from 100% recycled polyester it cleverly absorbs water from your skin which vastly increases the drying speed.
BREATHABLE TECHNOLOGY
The Saltie Elite Robe is breathable to 3000 g/m2/d with built in airflow technology allowing moisture and sweat to move away from the body and out of the Robe, without ever affecting the warmth and waterproof
performance.

What are changing robes used for?
Our Saltie changing robes are traditionally used to keep you warm or get changed under, after a cold dip in the ocean. Now, we’re seeing more and more uses for our change robes including keeping you warm whilst camping, dog walking, surfing, and cold water swimming to name a few. Note: Some people call it a dryrobe or drying robe, rather than a changing robe, all changing robes are slightly different.
Why do I need a Saltie Changing robe?
A Saltie change robe is ideal to shade you from the elements whilst keeping you warm and dry at the same time. They are weatherproof and come with an ultra-warm synthetic lining. If you’ve ever felt cold after getting out of the sea, got caught in the rain whilst walking the dog or needed a place to change after paddleboarding then a change robe is for you.
Whats the difference between a Saltie Elite Robe and Lite Robe?
Our Saltie Elite Robe is faux fur-lined, meaning it will keep you warm for far longer after you get out of the water or after a long day out in the elements. Our Saltie Lite Change Robe is extremely lightweight and dries out quickly. However, it won’t keep you as warm as our Elite Robes. Both are big enough for you to get changed underneath, but one is more suitable for keeping you warm and the other for drying and getting changed under.
How do you wash a Saltie Elite Robe?
Wash your Saltie Elite Robe inside out, this will stop the outer shell from getting that ‘warn’ look, use a mild detergent and warm water. Our robes don’t take a lot of care, so avoid dry cleaning or ironing, just keep it nice and simple. Also, avoid using a fabric softener as this will get clogged in between the microfibre. Then, dry at room temperature. Our Saltie Compact Change Robe can be washed on a warm wash and hung out to dry, again, keep it nice and simple..
What size changing robe should I choose?
Our Saltie Elite Robes are available in 4 sizes – Adult Large, Adult Small, Junior 5-9 years and Junior 10-13 years.
Adult Large: Dimensions – 90x120cm, if you’re 5’10-6’6 this one is for you.
Adult small: Dimensions – 80x110cm, if you’re 5’2-5’10 this one is for you.
Junior 5-9 years: Dimensions – -68.5x80cm, if you or your child is 3’6-4’5 this one is for you.
Junior 10-13 years: Dimensions – 80x94cm, if your child is 4’5-5’2 then this one is the one you need.
Does the Saltie Elite Robe have pockets?
Yes, our Saltie Elite Robe is equipped with 2 deep outer zipped pockets, 1 inner zipped pocket and an internal poacher pocket. Perfect to keep your hands extra toasty and your belongings zipped away safely.
