X-WOVEN DROP STITCH CORE
Saltie’s X-Woven Drop Stitch Construction takes Inflatable Paddle Boards to the next level! Coupled with the best materials and the latest FDL Technology. The result is a board with a market leading weight/rigidity/strength ratio meaning a better performance on the water.
REINFORCED SIDE RAIL CONSTRUCTION
High pressure laminated inner rail and heat-pressed seam with reinforced second layer that creates an air-tight and waterproof seal with extra compression and stiffness. PLUS top and bottom sealant strips for extra strength.
SUPERIOR MAX LOAD
Due to the construction process of a Saltie inflatable paddle board, they have a superior max weight load than most competitors, holding up to 180 kg, so enough for an extra passenger or two!

What is fusion double layer technology?
We make all of our inflatable paddleboards here at Saltieusing the laminated double-layer construction in our manufacturing process.Laminated double-layer construction is the premium technology in theinflatable paddle boardmanufacturing process. You start with the drop stitch of a single skin board and then a second PVC layer is laminated directly on top of it, this means no more cosmetic wrinkles on yourinflatable paddle boardwhilst keeping the board stiffer but, also lighter than alternatives.
How durable is a Saltie paddle board?
Inflatable paddleboards are often considered less durable than a hard paddleboard. However, Saltie Paddleboards are made using FDL Technology, which offers superior durability compared to other stand-up paddleboards on the market, whilst also being 20-25% lighter. Our SUPs are made to be taken on your Saltie adventures with you and then live to board another day.
Does my inflatable paddle board come with a paddle?
Yes, each of our Saltie paddleboard packages includes a fibreglass SUP paddle. You have the option to upgrade to our carbon fibre/nylon paddle.
How long does it take to learn paddle boarding?
Paddleboarding basics can be learnt in as quickly as 20 minutes. Stand-up paddle boarding for most people isn’t difficult. It’s an epic sport to learn, and most people are able to get the hang of it on their first time out.
What's the weight limit for your paddle boards?
Due to the way our inflatable paddleboards are made, they can hold up to 180 kg, far more than most standard SUPs on the market, making them ideal to hold larger paddleboarders or an extra person/ furry friend.
What's included in the paddle board package?
As standard the package includes, the board (obviously), fibreglass paddle, both an ankle and waist leash as standard, double action pump, wheeled backpack and repair kit.
Are your boards good for beginners?
Yes. The are perfect for all levels. The are made using the best technology, so are more stable, durable and stronger than cheaper single layer boards, so are built to last for any level.
